NEW HAVEN, Conn. — New Haven police reported that a woman was assaulted with a large metal post at a convenience store on Saturday.
Officers responded to Sam’s convenience store on Whalley Avenue due to a large fight, during which video footage captured an individual striking the 43-year-old woman with the post.
Authorities stated that the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They are urging any witnesses or individuals with information regarding the incident to contact the police.
